You know it’s November when it’s peak autumn foliage and the New York Marathon.
We’ve learnt that the two fall simultaneous on the first weekend of November and both tend to bring out the best in the city – amazing colors and an energy and positivity that speaks volumes for the true character of its residents.
Across the five boroughs, of which the marathon weaves through, crowds form on every block, egging on the runners as they weave through Staten Island, Brooklyn, Queens, up to the Bronx and into Manhattan at the Central Park finish line.
This post is our photographic record of a magical weekend and one that is not to be missed.
